HOUSE.GOV: Rep. Steube Reintroduces Clean Up DEBRIS Act

U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) reintroduced today the Clean Up Disasters and Emergencies with Better Recovery and Immediate Support Act or Clean Up DEBRIS Act. This bill would allow common interest communities, condominiums, and other private housing cooperatives to receive debris removal assistance from the federal government after a natural disaster or emergency.

Tampa.Gov : Homeowner Hurricane Assistance Program (HHA)

Notice: Beginning November 17th, new aid will be available for Tampa homeowners affected by hurricanes Helene and Milton. The program, Homeowner Hurricane Assistance (HHA) will prioritize homeowners in the hardest hit zip-codes, including Forest Hills/North Tampa, Palmetto Beach and South of Gandy/Port Tampa.

Dakota News Network: USDA Extends Livestock Disaster Recovery Assistance Application Deadline for 2023 and 2024 Flood and Wildfire Losses 

The USDA Farm Service Agency today announced that the deadline for livestock producers to apply for assistance through the Emergency Livestock Relief Program for 2023 and 2024 Flood and Wildfire is being extended to Nov. 21, 2025. The program is expected to provide approximately $1 billion in recovery benefits to producers whose livelihoods were adversely impacted by disrupted feed availability and poor forage conditions following catastrophic floods and wildfires in 2023 and 2024.
